Last week, the team completed works on the flats section at the junction during the week commencing 23rd. With the engineering works now complete, reinstatement will follow.
This week, the team has moved into Hillcoombe Lane and Kings Lane to complete the final connections. These works are expected to take place over the course of this week.
Reinstatement works will follow next week, after which the road closure is expected to be removed by the end of the week, subject to progress.
We thank residents and road users for their continued patience and cooperation while these final works are completed.

Last week the team began works in Rutherford Close, working from the dead end towards Eaton Road. The team will continue working in this area for approximately the next two weeks.
The team is planning to work on the flats section at the junction during the week commencing 23rd. Once the engineering works are completed, reinstatement will follow.
After all works are finished, the road closure will be removed and all site equipment, barriers, and materials will be cleared from the area.

We are having difficultly investigating the gas mains with incomplete drawings, we now have to investigate the whole network on Eaton Road so we don’t unexpectedly loss properties off gas, once all the investigation works have been completed we will complete what we were originally contracted to undertake.
