Singlewell Road is progressing well and we will be completed up to the junction of Alfred Road by the end of next week.

Project: Kitchener Avenue is now completed. Singlewell Road is progressing well and we will be completed up to the junction of Ascot Road by the end of the week.

We are finishing off Kitchener Avenue by the end of this week and then we will be going into Singlewell Road with a road closure as of Monday 16th

Update: 29.08.2024
As the summer Holidays are coming to an end, we will still be on Kitchener Avenue but at the junction of Oak Road/ Elm Road/ Gloucester Road.  This will take 2 weeks to complete.

Update: 15.08.2024
A different main was found feeding the school, after further investigation we have found the full extent of the second main along Sun Lane. By the end of next week both mains will be replaced up to Jellicoe Avenue West. We will then start to make our way south along Kitchener Avenue to Queens Road and Kings Drive.

After further investigation we will now be inserting the second gas main. W/c 05.08.2024 we will be working between Jelicoe Avenue West and Sun Lane. Each week we will be looking to move down to the next junction.

Update: 05.07.2024
We will be replacing a large diameter main running along Kitchener Avenue from Sharland Lane to Ash Road. We have two mains, one that we will be decommissioning and one that we are replacing as well as connecting all the side roads that we have previously worked in.

We will start from Sharland Lane and work towards Ash road in phase closing the side roads as we connect them into the main feed.
