SOE14266 – Lunsford Lane, Aylesford

Our lane closure has now been removed of Malling road and our team has moved into Lunford Lane Service Road, our team is looking to have this works completed within 2-3 weeks as a small section of this new install will have to be open cut, we will be liaising with the residents to enable them to access their properties safely while we complete this process. Holes will be plated or boarded out of hours to allow customers access while we are not on site.

We have a lane closure in place on Castle way, this is to allow traffic to still utilise this road while we carry out the gas mains replacement for a gas main that we have discovered is in very poor condition. This job is very difficult however our team is very experienced and we looking to have this completed by the 28/02/2025 and our lane closure will be removed.

Our works have begun and a new booster main has been installed on gighill, these works aim to boost pressures in the area for all residents. Our works will then see us fall into Castle Way/ Malling road in which we will have a lane closure in place for 24hrs a day we aim to complete this section of works in 3 weeks if all goes to plan.

Update: 17.01.2025
Our works will commence 20/01/2025 with a closure on Gighill Road. Our team are open cutting a trench to increase pressures in the area by installing a new 315mm main hopefully this will take 2 weeks and reinstatement another 1 week.
