We are currently working outside 99 – Junction of Killick Road. This will be the last section that will be completed before schools return.

Currently Herdsdown and Gordon Road have had the connections onto Main Road completed and the gas main between these junctions has been renewed. W/c 12.08 we are looking to complete Pottery Roads connection onto Main Road. Over the final two weeks we will be working towards and connecting into Killick Road to complete the renewal along this road.

We are working on phase one from Herdsdown to Pottery Road for two weeks. W/c 12.08.2024 we will move onto phase two from Pottery Road to Killick Road.

We started the gas mains replacement on Stoke Road, Main Road and the side roads in Hoo two years ago. Due to the location of the gas main along Main Road and the close proximity to the school and the requirement of a road closure, we have completed this work in stages through the summer holidays. We have the final 500m to complete that we will be aiming to finish this year. Our road closure will be in the below phases.
Phase one – From Herdsdown to Pottery Road, closing one entrance of St Werburgh Crescent.
Phase two – From Pottery Road to Killick Road, closing the other entrance of St Werburgh Crescent.
Phase three – From Killick Road to Coombe Road.
