This week our team have completed all works on Redstart close and our works on King Henrys Drive, our works will be getting backfilled and reinstated and works site will be cleared by the end of the week.
All gas mains replacement in the area will be completed however, a small section outside of the school will still need doing however, this will be done during a school half term at another time.

Last week all of the remainder of Stowell Avenue and our road closure was removed from site and the gas main has been fully replaced.
Our team has now progressed into Redstart close, in which they are looking to complete by 21/07/25 and site be reinstated and cleared.

All work last week saw us finish off Arnhem drive and our two way lights removed from site.
Our team has moved into Stowell Avenue, and this will be completed this week following this the team will look to go into Redstart close for a further 2 weeks.

This week saw our team working on Arnhem drive progressing a further 100m of gas mains, the team are expecting to be engineering complete and reinstatement complete by 25th of June.
Our team will then move into a closure on Stowell Avenue for 1-2 weeks and then progress into Redstart close for a following 2 weeks after this.
Access will always be always maintained for residents.

Our set of Two-way lights remain in place on Arnhem drive for the safety of our engineers and the public safety.
The team are expected to remain on this road for a further 2 weeks, after this section the team will move into Redstart Close for a further 2 weeks under give and take however at times access will be limited due to the tightness of this road.

Engineering works have now been complete in Hares bank and the closure is looking to be removed W/c 19th May.
Th team have now moved to Arnhem Drive under a set of 2-way lights along with a junction closure.
This is looking to last approximately 2-3 weeks and then the team will move into Redstart close, once all this has been completed the project will be complete.

The team managed to complete all Calley Down Crescent in just 2 weeks and have now removed the closure to just into Windham Avenue.
This week sees our reinstatement team working on Windham Avenue, while the gas engineers are working on Hares bank at the junction of Windham Avenue.
While in Hares bank the team are looking to complete this road in 3 weeks and then 1 extra week to backfill and reinstate open excavations.
Update: 22.04.2025
This week has seen our closure removed on Rowdown Crescent and moved onto Calley Down Crescent / Windham Avenue. The team are prioritising the works on Calley Down to try and minimise this closure and enable us to have our closure just in Windham Avenue junction. Once completing these works across the next 2-3 weeks we will move into Hares Bank, looking to replace the gas mains in the full length of the road.

Our WCB Utilities team has now entered their easter holiday priotised works for two weeks – we will need a closure on Windham and Rowdown Crescent and 2-way traffic lights on King Henrys Drive.
The team are aiming to complete all 250m of gas mains replacement in these two weeks, in which will then see them W/c 21st move into Calley Down Crescent under a road closure at the Junction of Windham Avenue, the team will be working into Windham and into Hares Bank for the next 3-4 weeks.

Our WCB Utilities team have started under a closure on Windham Avenue. We have done approximately 250m of gas mains replaced. Our team will for another week progress on Windham Avenue – during easter holidays for two weeks we will need a closure on Windham and Rowdown Crescent and 2-way traffic lights on King Henrys Drive.
