Over the past couple of weeks, the team has been progressing along Dunbar Avenue, completing the main installation and associated service connections.

This week, the team is working to complete the final 150 metres along with the remaining connections.

A final operation is scheduled for 7 April 2026, after which the reinstatement team will follow to complete any outstanding works.

Once all works are finished, the site will be cleared and the road closure will be removed, restoring normal access.

Last week the team successfully completed approximately 250 metres of mains replacement on Dubar Avenue.

This week, the road closure has been moved to the four-way junction to allow the team to complete the necessary service connections. This process will continue progressively along the road as the works advance.

We currently anticipate that works on Dubar Avenue will continue for approximately another four weeks until completion. Reinstatement works will follow closely behind the engineering team to ensure the road and surrounding areas are restored as quickly as possible.
