Update: 21.03.2025
Last week saw our WCB Utilities team complete 400m of gas mains replacement. This week sees the team continue on Staplstreet. These works will be completed and the closure will be lifted by 28^th March, we are hoping to lift this closure before this date.

Update: 28.02.2025
Our WCB Utilities team have been working on Church Hill and Fostal for the last 2 weeks, this included ensuring we was past the school entrance during the half term which was accomplished. The team have finished all engineering works, and the closure is looking to be removed in all directions as of 3^rd March. Our next stage of works will see us move into Kays Lane for approx. 1-2 weeks in which the team will be looking to replace 220m of old metallic gas mains with new plastic pipe.

Update: 13.02.2025
We have finally finished on Graveney Road and the road closure being lifted on the 17th . Our team have done very well in replacing nearly 1700m of old metallic mains in just 4 weeks. 

Our team will now progress onto Church Hill and Fostal for approximately 2 weeks while schools are on annual leave. This will be under a closure however a signed diversion is in place 

Update: 30.01.2025
We have changed our traffic management to a closure now on Graveney road. We are looking at this section of works to be completed on 14^th February which will see us lift the road closure and site to be clear. The pipe will have been all replaced and the area all having improved pressures and a gas main to last many years to come.

We currently have two way lights on Graveney Road, Faversham and will be changing the TM too a road closure on the 22nd of January, we are aiming to get this project done in 5 weeks.
