PROJECT: SOE15113
Location: Butlers Dene Road, Woldingham
(Butlers Dene Road / Slines Oak Road)
Update: 08.07.2026
Over the past two weeks, the team has been carrying out gas mains replacement works on Butlers Dene Road and Slines Oak Road.
Works on Butlers Dene Road have now been successfully completed, and the team is continuing to work on Slines Oak Road. This phase of works is expected to be completed by 20 July, after which the team will move to a location where works must be undertaken during the summer holiday period to minimise disruption.
The team will return to Slines Oak Road at a later date to complete the remaining service connections and approximately 250 metres of gas main replacement. Once these works have been scheduled, affected residents will be notified in advance.
We would like to thank residents and road users for their continued patience, understanding and cooperation while these essential works are carried out to help maintain a safe and reliable gas network.
Update: 19.06.2026
Over the past two weeks, the team has been working along Butlers Dene Road, carrying out service transfer works to connect existing properties to the new plastic gas main.
The team is aiming to complete these works next week, after which they will move into Slines Oak Road. Works will commence from the Upland Road end and progress towards the main road over the course of the following few weeks.
At certain stages of the project, access restrictions may be required and the road may be temporarily blocked. Where this is necessary, signed diversion routes will be in place and motorists may need to use an alternative route.
We would like to thank residents for their continued patience, understanding, and cooperation while these essential works are carried out to help maintain a safe and reliable gas network.
