Our WCB Utilities team will be finishing our engineering works this week. W/c 31^st will see our reinstatement team on site backfilling all outstanding holes from last week. We are aiming to have this closure lifted on this week too.

Update: 28.02.2025
Last week saw our WCB Utilities team complete all of Grove Green Lane, and our reinstatement team will be working in here to backfill all outstanding holes. Our team this week has inserted all 450m of new gas main from the junction of Grove Green Lane to the junction of Grovewood Drive South, over the course of the next 2 weeks will see them relay all the new services and abandon the old gas main. We are aiming for works to be completed by the end of March this will include road closure being removed and all barriers.

Our WCB Utilities team, last week allowed our reinstatement team to catch up with backfilling and reinstating the previous work we had completed to minimise our site to as little as we could. Our team W/c 17th will be going into Grove Green Lane for approximately one week and carry on South of Weavering street all the way for approximately the next 5 weeks in which his road closure will follow him.

We are currently still processing south of Weavering Street. Next week will see us working from the junction of Grove wood Drive North approx. 150-200m towards grove green lane.  The following week will see us work in Grove green lane and hoping to complete this in 2-3 weeks.
